Suresh Kumar Pandey's research interests include materials development and environmental chemistry. He completed his master's degree (M.Sc.) in chemistry at the University of Allahabad, India, in 2017, and then enrolled in doctoral studies at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) in Varanasi. He defended his dissertation entitled "Synthesis of Metal Oxides Based Photocatalysts for the Removal of Organic Pollutants from Waste Water" on August 31, 2022.

His research work focused on the development of advanced photocatalytic materials for environmental remediation, with an emphasis on the removal of particularly worrisome substances from wastewater. The goals of the research are sustainable and efficient solutions for water purification, which represents a key global challenge due to growing industrialization.
