Životopis

Ines Bera završila je diplomski studij na Fakultetu kemijskog inženjerstva i tehnologije Sveučilišta u Zagrebu 2017. godine. Tijekom studija usmjerila se na područje elektrokemije i kemijske zaštite materijala kroz praksu u laboratoriju Cortec Corporation u St. Paulu, Minnesota i kroz diplomski radi pod naslovom "Razvoj metode za ispitivanje zadržavanja inhibitora korozije na metalnim površinama", pod mentorstvom prof. dr. Sanje Martinez. Nakon diplome stekla je iskustvo u kontroli kvalitete u INGUN Prüfmittelbau GmbH prije nego što se ponovno posvetila znanosti. Od siječnja 2020. godine radi na Fakultetu kemijskog inženjerstva i tehnologije kao asistentica na Zavodu za elektrokemiju. Iste godine postaje doktorandica HZZ-a i upisuje poslijediplomski doktorski studij Kemijsko inženjerstvo i primijenjena kemija. Ines svoje doktorsko istraživanje usmjerava na zaštitu od korozije, posebice na istraživanje inovativnih elektrokemijskih metoda za procjenu zaštitnih svojstava oksidnih spojeva, patina i premaza na metalima pod mentorstvom prof. dr. Sanje Martinez. Radi na projektu pod nazivom "Razvoj novih rješenja za karakterizaciju i zaštitu brončane kulturne baštine izložene vanjskom okruženju" koji financira HrZZ. Tijekom doktorskog studija Ines je napisala tri znanstvena rada i aktivno sudjelovala na devet domaćih i međunarodnih skupova. Također je pomogla organizirati i voditi ljetne škole korozije na Zavodu za elektrokemiju i u eksperimentalnoj provedbi nekoliko završnih i diplomskih radova.
