Biography

Mia Gotovuša was born in 1996 in Zagreb, Republic of Croatia. In 2015, she enrolled in the Chemical Engineering course at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology. During her education, she was awarded the City of Zagreb Pupil and Student Scholarships for Excellence, the Dean's Awards for the best student for every year of study,  and the Rector's Award for individual scientific and artistic work on the topic: "Photocatalytic Degradation of Diazepam with Immobilized TiO2". She graduated in 2020 and obtained a master's degree in chemical engineering. In the same year,  she was employed at the Petroleum and Petrochemical Department as Research Assistant and PhD Student of the Croatian Science Foundation on the project Development of functional biofuels and (bio)additives and characterization of blends with mineral fuels.
