Eureka is a European network for market-oriented research and development. It was founded in 1985. Eureka gathers and links enterprises and research institutions from over 40 European countries, but contributions from Israel, South Korea and Canada are included as well. The Republic of Croatia is full member of the network since 2000.

EUREKA aids at creating partnerships through joint multilateral projects, with an aim of increasing European competitiveness. Innovative, market-oriented R&D projects are supported which result in new products or services that are marketable and promote advanced. There are no official calls; the projects are initiated by the submitters.
