Iva Zokić was born on February 28, 1997, in Zagreb. She received her primary school education at the Kustošija Elementary School, after which, in 2011, she enrolled in the XVI High School in Zagreb. After finishing high school in 2015, she enrolled in the undergraduate study of Environmental Engineering at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology. After completing her undergraduate studies in 2019, she enrolled in the graduate study of Environmental Engineering at the same Faculty. In the academic year 2020/2021, she received the City of Zagreb Scholarship for academic excellence and the Rector's Award for individual scientific work in the field of technical sciences for research entitled 'Scaling up batch extractive deacidification of feedstock for biodiesel synthesis'. She graduated with high honors, Magna Cum Laude, on September 28, 2021. For her excellent success in graduate studies, she was awarded the Vjera Marjanović-Krajovan award for the best student of the Environmental Engineering graduate study in the 2020/2021 generation. In December 2021, she started working as an assistant at the Department of Mechanical and Thermal Process Engineering.
