Andrea Lončarević Vrabec was born in Đakovo, Croatia in 1993. In 2018, she graduated from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology under the mentorship of Professor Marica Ivanković, Ph.D. From February 2019 to January 2020, she worked as an assistant at the Department of surface engineering of polymer materials. From April 2021, she is an assistant-doctoral student of the Croatian Science Foundation on the Smart drug delivery systems in bone tumour treatment project (led by Associate Professor Anamarija Rogina, Ph.D.). From October 2022 to April 2023, she underwent doctoral training at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain.
