Životopis

Doc. dr. sc. Nevena Milčić zaposlila se na Sveučilištu u Zagrebu Fakultetu kemijskog inženjerstva i tehnologije u Zavodu za reakcijsko inženjerstvo i katalizu u siječnju 2019. godine, na suradničkom radnom mjestu asistentice-doktorandice, gdje je radila do ožujka 2023. Tijekom tog razdoblja sudjelovala je u provedbi pet znanstvenih projekata (Obzor 2020, istraživački projekt HRZZ-a, bilateralni projekti s Kinom, Austrijom i Slovenijom) te provela tri mjeseca kao gostujući znanstvenik na inozemnim institucijama (Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Maribor, Slovenija – 1 mjesec; TU Graz, Institut za molekularnu biotehnologiju, Graz, Austrija – 2 mjeseca). Doktorirala je 2023. godine po skandinavskom modelu s radom „Mathematical modelling and optimization of biocatalytic synthesis of fluorinated chiral building blocks“ pod mentorstvom prof. dr. sc. Zvjezdane Findrik Blažević i dr. sc. Maje Majerić Elenkov, znanstvene savjetnice s Instituta Ruđer Bošković. U ožujku 2023. preuzela je dužnost voditeljice Ureda za međunarodnu suradnju na matičnom fakultetu, a od prosinca 2024. zaposlena je kao docentica u Zavodu za reakcijsko inženjerstvo i katalizu. 2025. godine provela je jedan mjesec na Institute for Advanced Chemistry of Catalonia (IQAC-CSIC) (Barcelona, Španjolska) kao gostujući znanstvenik. Od 1. listopada 2025. obavlja funkciju predstojnice Zavoda za reakcijsko inženjerstvo i katalizu na matičnom fakultetu. Do sada je sudjelovala s 35 priopćenja na znanstvenim skupovima, uključujući dva pozvana predavanja na međunarodnom znanstvenom skupu. Koautorica je 17 znanstvenih radova, od čega je na osam prvi autor. Ispred Fakulteta bila je nositeljica suradnje Erasmus+ kombiniranih intenzivnih programa „Basics & Application of Computational Chemistry in Action – BACCA“ (2022-1-PL01-KA131-HED-000053247-4) i „Computational Chemistry in Action  – CCiA“ (2024-1-PL01-KA131-HED-000200091-3), provedenih u organizaciji Sveučilišta u Lodzu (Poljska) kao glavnog koordinatora. Koordinatorica je Erasmus Mundus Design Measures projekta „PaInts and coatinGs: Material Engineering, desigN and innovative Technologies for Sustainability – PIGMENTS“ (ERASMUS-EDU-2025-EMJM-DESIGN, 101241110). Jedna je od urednica fakultetskih izdanja „Katalog znanstveno-istraživačke opreme“, „Research Projects 2017. – 2022.“ i „Istraživačko-razvojni projekti 2017. – 2022.“
