Admission criteria:

The maximum number of points applicants can earn during the evaluation process is 1000. Applicants undergo a grading process based on specific criteria to determine their points allocation as follows:

(a) The overall grade of success for completed university undergraduate or integrated undergraduate and graduate studies

The overall grade of success for completed university undergraduate or integrated undergraduate and graduate studies is calculated by summing the individual exam grades of all courses, multiplying each grade by the corresponding number of ECTS points, and then dividing the total by the sum of ECTS points for all completed courses. This calculation results in a total grade scored out of a maximum of 600 points.

(b) Duration of completed university undergraduate or university integrated undergraduate and graduate studies

The duration of undergraduate or integrated study is evaluated with a maximum of 300 points. Any periods of suspension of rights and obligations during the undergraduate study, as well as international student exchange periods, are excluded from the calculation of the study duration. Points for the duration of completed study assigned to applicants are determined using the formula: (1-((A-B)/B))*300, where A represents the number of years the applicant studied in the completed program, and B represents the duration of the completed study program in years

(c) Awards and special achievements

Special achievements are scored with a maximum of 100 points. Special achievements are scored as follows:

  • 50 points – Rector’s Award
  • 50 points – Co-authorship in a paper published in tertiary publications
  • 50 points – Placement in the top five positions in the scientific part of students competition “Tehnologijada”
