Tatjana Gazivoda Kraljević is a full professor at the Department of Organic Chemistry, Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology University of Zagreb. She graduated from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology in 2000 and obtained her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Faculty of Science University of Zagreb, in 2007. She served as Vice Dean for Education at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology from the 2017/2018 to 2020/2021 academic years. She teaches various courses across undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs, including Organic Chemistry, Heterocyclic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry in Drug Development, Structure Determination of Organic Compounds, Process Analytical Technology, Modern Methods in Organic Chemistry, Heterocycles: Current and Future Perspectives, Modern Approach to Organic Synthesis, and Medical Chemistry. Additionally, she contributes to the undergraduate program in Military Engineering at the University of Zagreb and University North. She has mentored over 80 master's and final thesis works, as well as 3 doctoral dissertations. In 2014, she received an award from the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Croatia for her contribution to the development of military study programs. Her research focuses on synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry, particularly in the development, green synthesis, and structural characterization of novel biologically active heterocyclic compounds. Tatjana Gazivoda Kraljević has published 37 research papers in peer-reviewed journals, which have been cited over 800 times. She is the author of the university textbook Basics of Chemistry of Heterocyclic Compounds and a co-author of 2 patents. She has presented her research through posters and lectures at more than 60 international and national scientific conferences. Furthermore, she has led or collaborated on 6 domestic and international scientific projects and 3 professional projects. She has reviewed more than 80 papers for reputed journals in organic, bioorganic, medicinal and multidisciplinary chemistry. Additionally, she is an active member of various committees at the University of Zagreb and the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, as well as the Croatian Chemical Society and the Croatian Society of Chemical Engineers and Technologists. Tatjana Gazivoda Kraljević has also organized numerous events and workshops aimed at the popularization of science.
