#CONFERENCE

The Croatian Ceramic Society (CroCerS) is the last established national society in the European area, striving to increase visibility of the activities related with ceramic materials of the researchers and processionals in Croatia and internationally, in concordance with its Statute. Following that, the time was just about right to put the International CroCerS Conference under the spotlight. This was done in 2023. when CroCerS established biyearly International ACDC Conference to serve as a useful platform to support the above-mentioned activities.

In doing so, the Scientific-Organizing Committee would like to omit “common segmentation” of the symposium topics based on the application area or chemical composition. Instead, we are fostering proactive segmentation of symposium topics based on correlation of material configurations and functionalities.

Therefore the  proposed 2^nd CroCerS Conference, actually 2^nd International Conference of the Croatian Ceramic Society, will be thematically recognised as: AC-DC (Advanced Ceramics in Derivative Configurations) Conference.

The conference will be held at the Civitas Centre facilities, in Šibenik, Croatia, from 30^thApril to 3^rd May 2025.

and send it to crocers@fkit.unizg.hr until 28.03.2025. You will receive the decision by the 31.03.2025. Late registrations are accepted by the 25.04.2023. The Abstract submissions without Registration will be revoked. 10 BURSARIES (courtesy of ECERS JECS TRUST) are AVAILABLE for registered international ECI participants. Bursaries will be offered according to Abstract quality (up to 500 Eur for travel & accommodation). When sending Abstract, please clearly declare your intention to participate in call for bursaries!

The official Conference language is English. You may already see the tentative AGENDA. Contributions will be published in 2^nd CroCerS 2025 ACDC Book of Abstracts. Selected Papers will be invited for publication in Special Issue (Q1 and other Scopus & WoS journals; to be announced).

Limited transfers Zg-Ši-Zg will be also possible. Zagreb to Šibenik -> “Promo” -> should be an easy drive, or you can fly to Zadar (~70km) or Split (~50km), wherefrom limited airport transfers will be possible. 

You may expect a comfortable weather and a mild touristic situation near one of the most famous Natural Parks in the whole World. Likely, we will have not more than 100 participants, which will allow intimate and vibrant networking atmosphere.

Surely, You will have opportunity to hear great lecturers, so I am very much looking forward to seeing you in Šibenik!
