Description:
COURSE OBJECTIVE
To deepen the theoretical foundations for understanding chemical calculus in such a way that students, through a meaningful and logical analysis of the problem and integrating already acquired knowledge, independently conclude how to solve the problem by calculation.

COURSE PROGRAM :

1. Dimensional analysis. Determing significant
digits. Signification Figures in Calculation
2. Relative atomic mass. Relative molecular weight. Mole. Relationship the number of constituent particles in a sample with the amount of substance in that sampl. Stoichiometric laws (Law of Mass conservation, Law of Coupling Masses, Law constant mass ratios, Law of multiplied mass ratios).
3. Quantitative relationships in chemical compounds. Quantitative composition of chemical compounds. Empirical formula of a chemical compound.
Composition of the substance.
4. Chemical reaction equation and stoichiometric coefficients. Quantitative relationships in chemical reactions. Quantitative ratios of pure substances and components of mixtures.
