- Workshop, June 2023
The first workshop of the project took place on June 30, 2023 at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology from 10 am to 1:30 pm. The topic of the workshop was the presentation of research work on different molecular designs and applications of controlled radical polymerizations to obtain functional polymer materials.
The workshop started with an introductory lecture by the project leader Zvonimir Katančić, in which he introduced all former and current researchers and the main research goals of the project. After him, a total of three presentations were given by PhD students of the project, L. Fiket and M. Božičević. They presented the research field of their doctoral thesis, showed the most important results, the conclusions they came to and all the difficulties and obstacles they encountered in their work. The last presentation was given by student K. Marković, who is an official member of the project, and showed how an undergraduate student can join the research group. The presentation was followed by a short discussion and those interested were able to visit the laboratory where the research is conducted.

The 28th Croatian Meeting of Chemists and Chemical Engineers (28HSKIKI) was held March 28-31 in Rovinj, Croatia. The SHaPes team was represented by Marin Božičević and Lucija Fiket, who presented two poster presentations entitled: "Synthesis and characterization of stretchable and conductive PEDOT-g-PCL copolymers for wearable electronics" and "Development of new generation of stretchable conductive polymers for wearable flexible electronics"

- POLY-CHAR 2023, Auckland (NZ), January 2023
Project leader Zvonimir Katančić attended the conference POLY-CHAR 2023, held in Auckland, New Zealand on 22-26 January 22-26, with the keynote lecture: " Development of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) based stretchable conductive polymers for flexible electronics".

- Research visit to University of Auckland, Auckland (NZ)
PhD student Lucija Fiket was on a research visit to the University of Auckland, Faculty of science, Department of Chemistry, Auckland, from November 6 to December 18, 2022, where she worked under the direct supervision of prof. Jadranka Travas-Sejdic on the development of conductive stretchable electromiographic sensors based on the PEDOT-SEBS system.

PhD student Marin Božičević attended the conference European Polymer Congress EPF 2022, held in Prague, Czech Republic on June 26-July 1, with poster presentation: "ATRP synthesis of stretchable and self-healable poly(EDOT-co-ThBr)-g-PEGMA".

PhD student Lucija Fiket attended the conference XIV Meeting of Young Chemical Engineers, held in Zagreb, Croatia on February 24-25, with poster presentation: "Inkjet printing of conducting inks based on poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) polymer".
