A paper titled Towards mass-production of ion-selective electrodes by spotting: Optimization of membrane composition and real-time tracking of membrane drying

This collaborative research project was  additionaly supported by the CSF Mobility programme which funded Sara's Visit to Eric Bakker's group at the University of Geneva.

Sara completes research training at...

Sara Krivačić has finished her 6-month research training  at the University of Geneva, Faculty of Science with Professor Eric Bakker. During her stay she worked on optimization of scalable microfarication of solid-state ion-selective electrodes via printing and spotting.

 

Her training was funded by the Croatian Science Foundation (MOBDOK-2023).

The paper by Sara Krivačić, Marko Zubak, Domagoj Vrsaljko, and Petar Kassal, entitled 

Application of Intense Pulsed Light in the Development of Poly(vinyl butyral)-based All-solid-state Ag/AgCl Reference Electrodes

has been accepted for publication in Electroanalysis (DOI:10.1002/elan.202300368)!

Petar will give a keynote lecture at the 11th International Workshop on Surface Modification for Chemical and Biochemical Sensing from 3 to 7 November. 

Sara and Petar will participate at the EUChems Euroanalysis Conference in Geneva 27-31 August 2023, with a talk and poster. 

Group members will participate at The 28th Croatian Meeting of Chemists and Chemical Engineers in Rovinj from 28-31.3.2023.  

A poster describing recent work on printed electronics will be presented at LOPEC in February. 

Group members will disseminate the project results as 2 poster presentations at the Solutions in Chemistry international conference, to be held 8-11 November 2022 in Sveti Martin na Muri, Croatia.

Group members will present project results (as a poster) at the 19th Ružička Days 2022 Conference.

September 21–23, 2022 / Vukovar, Croatia

Project results will be disseminated at the Mátrafüred 2022 - International Conference on Chemical Sensors,  June 12-17 in Visegrad, Hungary.

The title of the poster is "The Development and Characterization of Inkjet-Printed Solid-State Ag/AgCl Reference Electrodes".

Petar Kassal will give an invited lecture titled Nanoparticle-based conductive inks for inkjet printing of planar electrodes at the XIV Meeting of Young Chemical Engineers (Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, 24-25 February 2022).

An oral and poster presentation of the project results will also be given by group members.

Petar Kassal will publicly present the project in the Council room,  Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology,  Marulićev trg 19,  Zagreb on December 6th 2021 at 11 a.m.

Group members will participate at The 27th Croatian Meeting of Chemists and Chemical Engineers in Veli Lošinj from 5-8 October 2021.
