Quantum Dots and Smart Materials: WearSense Research at BioNanoSeries 2026

Dr. Huma Yilmaz, a member of the WearSense project team, delivered an invited talk at BioNanoSeries 2026, held from 30 September to 2 October 2026 in Dresden, Germany.

Her invited presentation, titled “Quantum Dot-Based Molecularly Imprinted Polymers and Biocompatible Materials for Optical Sensing Applications”, highlighted innovative approaches to optical sensing through the integration of quantum dots, molecularly imprinted polymers, and biocompatible materials.

The conference provided a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge on recent advances in nanomaterials and optical sensing technologies, while fostering connections with international researchers and exploring opportunities for future collaborations and joint research projects.
