PhD position available!

A PhD position is available on the WearSense project, Wearable Optical Chemical Sensors for Multimodal Determination of Biomarkers, at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of Zagreb, Croatia.

We are looking for a candidate with:

• MSc or equivalent qualification in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science/engineering biochemistry, or related science or engineering field
• Experience of practical work in a research laboratory
• Knowledge of UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopic and other material characterisation methods
• Interest in design and synthesis/fabrication of sensing (nano)materials
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

The position is available on a fixed term contract of maximum duration 6 years.
