Nikola Rimac graduated in 2019, from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of Zagreb, Croatia. From October 2019, he was employed at the Department of Measurements and Process Control as a teaching assistant, and he enrolled in the doctoral study of Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology. His scientific work is directed in the field of modeling, programming, and advanced process control in chemical engineering, while his special interest is the development of predictive diagnostic methods of chemical processes and process equipment applying fundamental physical-chemical models and artificial intelligence models.
