He was born in 1988 in Zagreb. He enrolled at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology (FCET) (University of Zagreb) in 2007, where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Chemistry in 2010 and a Master's Degree in Applied Chemistry in 2012. Later that year, he was employed at the Ruđer Bošković Institute (RBI), where he was first a Research Associate (2012 - 2013) and then an Assistant (2013 - 2019) in the Laboratory for Synthetic Organic Chemistry. He defended his doctoral dissertation "Photochemical decarboxylation of phthalimide derivatives" in 2018 at the Faculty of Science (University of Zagreb). He remained employed at the RBI as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Radiation Chemistry and Dosimetry Laboratory (2019 - 2023). Since November 2024, he has been employed as a Researcher on a project at the Petroleum and Petrochemical Department of FCET. He is the author or co-author of 12 journal articles, 11 poster presentations, and one oral presentation.
