Function:
Lana Brkić completed her graduate study in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of Zagreb in 2021.
In November of the same year, she was employed as an Accosiate at the Department of Electrochemistry of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology and had the opportunity to deal with the topics of corrosion protection, closely related to the area of bronze protection using superhydrophobic films of organic acids, using electrochemical techniques in both conventional and modified electrochemical cell, as well as microscopic and spectroscopic techniques.
She participated in a student conference in the field of electrochemistry where she was awarded 3rd place for the best oral presentation and helped in the creation of experimental parts of several final and graduation theses at her Department.
In January 2023 she was employed as a Process engineer in Pfizer where she participated in changes and improvements in the product quality requirements, improvement of the existing manufacturing processes and their optimization and establishment of technological and other documentation according to the standards of Good Manufacturing Practice.
In November 2024, she was employed as a Junior researcher on the AELECTRA (A new concept for mid- to long-term storage of electrical energy in ammonia), HORIZON project, at the Department of Electrochemistry of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology under the leadership of prof. Ph.D. Helena Otmačić Ćurković and enrolled in the University's scientific post-graduate doctoral study in Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry.
