Biography

Goran Lukač graduated from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of Zagreb in 2011 with the title of M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering. After five years of work in industry, he is employed at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology as an assistant at the Department of Reaction Engineering and Catalysis. He obtained his PhD in 2022 with the topic "Synthesis of control systems for four-product dividing wall columns". Since the same year, he has been working as a senior assistant at the Department of Reaction Engineering and Catalysis of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology. 

His scientific field of interest is process simulations, modelling and control of complex distillation processes, on which he has published several scientific papers as author or co-author as well as participated in a number of international and domestic scientific conferences. 

In addition to his scientific work, during his work at the Faculty he also participates in several professional projects in cooperation with the industry and is co-author of several professional studies and expertises.
