MODES OF INSTRUCTION
Traditional instruction: lectures, seminars, and workshops.
STUDENT OBLIGATIONS
Mandatory attendance in all forms of instruction (75%). Completion of homework assignments. Taking midterm exams (two per semester).
MONITORING OF STUDENTS' WORK
Class attendance, Written exam, Oral exam, Continuous assessment
GRADING AND ASSESSMENT DURING CLASS AND ON THE FINAL EXAM
Continuous assessment during the semester is conducted through midterm exams and quizzes, along with final written and oral exams. Students who achieve a sufficient number of points (46) through midterm exams, homework assignments, and quizzes are exempt from the written exam with a corresponding grade, and they can take the oral part of the exam until the end of classes in the following semester. Students who do not pass the midterm exams and quizzes must take the written part of the exam, where a minimum of 40% of the points is required, followed by the oral exam. The maximum number of points per midterm exam, as well as on the written exam, is 30.
The grading scale for midterm exams:
Sufficient (2): 46-57;
Good (3): 58-70;
Very good (4): 71-81;
Excellent (5): 82 and above.
The grading scale for the written exam is:
Sufficient (2): 12-16;
Good (3): 16.5-21;
Very good (4): 21.5-25.5;
Excellent (5): 26-30.
QUALITY ASSURANCE METHODS THAT ENSURE THE ACQUISITION OF OUTPUT KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
Student evaluation survey, course performance analysis
