Ana Petračić, PhD was born on December 23, 1992, in Sisak. In 2007, she enrolled in the XV Gymnasium in Zagreb, and in 2011, she began her undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology. She completed her Master's degree in Chemical Process Engineering with honors, Cum laude, in 2016. After completing her studies, she took a position at the same faculty, at the Department of Mechanical and Thermal Process Engineering. She defended her doctoral thesis on December 6, 2021, with the highest distinction, Summa cum laude. She participated as an associate in a scientific project co-financed by the European Fund for Regional Development, and in a project promoting STEM fields co-financed by the European Social Fund. She is the co-author of eight scientific papers and one book chapter.
